Students gear up for 'Casting and Recording' Sessions

Since last September Centre Stage School has been running highly sought after 'Casting and Recording' sessions for their ambitious, young singing students.  These 'Casting and Recording' sessions involve 6 weeks of one-to-one training with a view to creating a student's very own portfolio (including a professionally recorded performance, headshots, intro video, and biography).  Recent participant Kathryn Walsh said 'I couldn’t recommend it more!!! I absolutely loved it. It was very student-lead which I really enjoyed. It’s a lovely, professionally-recorded memory which is amazing to have. I enjoyed it immensely and would happily do it again in a heartbeat!'.  Another student who performed as part of CSS Casting and Recording was Sophie Ryan: 'The Centre Stage Casting and Recording sessions gave me a look into the professional world of singing and made me more confident in my vocal abilities and talents! Kerry and everyone else involved put in so much effort to let me have a memorable experience and the term helped me look forward to the career I want to pursue in performing arts.'

Starting on Friday 18th February, Mallow native Kerry Nyhan will begin coaching another group of young singers towards the end goal of the Centre Stage School 'Casting and Recording' sessions; professionally recording their performance on video.  It's an ideal program for students who aim to attend online auditions, castings, and competitions or, if you are more interested in a one-of-a-kind experience for your up-and-coming performer CSS is also offering a 'Personal Package' to capture your child’s talent on film, so that you have it forever.  It can even be given as a special gift to a loved one, near or far.  If you are interested in booking a 'Casting and Recording' time slot, please email centrestageschool@gmail.com or you can call 022 53477 for more info.

Testimonials

Lucy has been attending Centre Stage since the age of 4.  I can’t thank the teachers and staff enough for all they instill in our kids; the talent, confidence & camaraderie inside those doors are so important, and it's a privilege for any child to be part of, and something which they’ll carry with them through life.

My daughter Aoibhe Lilly has attended Centre Stage for the past 5 years. The overall experience has been phenomenal. She has always enjoyed the high standard of classes on offer. Centre Stage offers a caring, nurturing environment, where love of arts is encouraged, in a place where children can dance, act, sing, laugh and have fun, making lifelong friends and memories. In Aoibhes own words 'It's my happy place'!

My daughter has been attending Centre Stage School for 4 years. She started with Theatre Tots and moved on ward from there. The musical theatre classes have been instrumental in the development of her self-confidence, as well as her great love for music and dance. The teachers and staff include and encourage all children of all abilities, and each child has a chance to shine. I couldn’t recommend Centre Stage School highly enough. Thank you to everyone there for the amazing work you do!
