Theatre Tots

Taught by Lily Leahy, Laura Burke and Keith Hanley these junior classes introduce students to all three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing through theatre games, mime and story telling. This introductory level class is designed to accommodate a younger child’s attention span, while providing them with exposure to multiple performance skills including dance, acting and song. This class prepares for a performance where each student gets to dress up and perform for family and friends. All classes are interactive and fun, encouraging each young performer to build confidence and social skills. During school terms, Theatre Tots classes occur throughout the week and on Saturdays in our Mallow, Kanturk and Charleville studios in Mallow, and throughout the week in preschools across North Cork.  These classes will be available to book from August 2021 from here, and to read more about the experienced and dedicated people who teach Theatre Tots click here.

Toddler Theatre Tots (20 months - 3 yrs)

Toddler Theatre Tots is your child's gateway to all things imaginative. This is a parent and toddler class which allows for a safe environment for the child to explore imagination through weekly adventures ranging from turning into pirates to going camping. Classes are held with parents/minders present in the room so it allows you to sit back with a cup of coffee and watch how your child interacts with others and the teacher.  Starting in September, this class will be available to book from August here.

More challenging songs and role play scenarios are explored and child lead improvisation is encouraged. Props and costumes are often used to bring a theme to life along with theme centred songs, poems and stories. Testimonials

Lucy has been attending Centre Stage since the age of 4.  I can’t thank the teachers and staff enough for all they instill in our kids; the talent, confidence & camaraderie inside those doors are so important, and it's a privilege for any child to be part of, and something which they’ll carry with them through life.

My daughter Aoibhe Lilly has attended Centre Stage for the past 5 years. The overall experience has been phenomenal. She has always enjoyed the high standard of classes on offer. Centre Stage offers a caring, nurturing environment, where love of arts is encouraged, in a place where children can dance, act, sing, laugh and have fun, making lifelong friends and memories. In Aoibhes own words 'It's my happy place'!

My daughter has been attending Centre Stage School for 4  years. She started with Theatre Tots and moved on ward from there. The musical theatre classes have been instrumental in the development of her self-confidence, as well as her great love for music and dance. The teachers and staff include and encourage all children of all abilities, and each child has a chance to shine. I couldn’t recommend Centre Stage School highly enough. Thank you to everyone there for the amazing work you do!
