Spring Sounds

Spring Sounds 2018...

In January we made our way to Cork Arts Theatre once again to exhibit and appreciate the talents of more of ourstudents.  Solo singers kicked off the performances at this, our springtime showcase, and wowed us with their vocal abilities...

Over four days we experienced the singing, dancing and acting talents of some of our Musical Theatre classes, under the direction of their class teachers and school director Aideen McAuliffe, performing in shows like 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown', 'Shrek' and 'Dreamgirls' and ranging in age from third class to second year.

The final show of the showcase was performed by the Senior Musical Theatre class (15 to 18) and was a new style of project for Centre Stage School.  'For Forever' was a play developed by the students themselves (with the assistance of writer Katie Holly) and inspired by the music of Broadway hit 'Dear Evan Hansen'.  The two performances incited rapturous rounds of applause and standing ovations.  The response to the project was so overwhelming that we have decided to revive 'For Forever' in the near future!

Can't praise Centre Stage school enough, my daughter has attended since she was 5 years old and enjoys every class she attends. Staff are friendly and professional and bring out the best in every student.

The atmosphere in classes, the variety of the class content and the teaching and guidance from all the teachers had me wanting more.
