Centre Stage School are pleased and proud to announce that 10 of their students have been selected via an audition process to perform in Cork Opera House's Panto production of 'Aladdin', running from Wednesday 26th November to Sunday 18th January. Con Curtin, Allie Mannion, Coleen Whelan will perform as part of the Junior Ensemble, Oliwia Chaber, Ava Mannion, Lucyanne McAuliffe, Daniel O'Keeffe, Cillian Ryan, Conor Smyth will perform as part of the Intermediate Ensemble, and playing the part of the magic carpet is Zoe Murphy. As if that wasn't enough to be proud of, CSS teacher and choreographer Aoibhinn Quirke (pictured above) returns to Cork Opera House to perform in this year's panto, along with former CSS student Glen Singleton as part of the professional cast - welcome back to both! Meanwhile CSS teachers Roisin Lane and Keith Hanley are also performing Pantos; Roisin as the Ugly Sister in 'Cinderella' in Everyman Theatre', and Keith as Dandini in 'Cinderella' in the Panto in Limerick! There are a busy few months ahead for these performers, as rehearsals are well underway, and the performance schedule is just as hectic.
